The Hideaway
The Hideaway lives up to its name. Our charming and intimate private dining room is nestled amongst the treetops, with stunning views overlooking Lake Baroon and a beautiful wraparound veranda surrounded by rainforest. With its own dedicated space, it feels as though it is just you and your guests at Secrets, while the bifold doors can be opened to welcome in the cool Hinterland breeze and spectacular views. It is a truly special setting for smaller celebrations, gatherings and private events.

The Gallery is generally arranged with long tables, providing plenty of room for guests to move, mingle and enjoy the occasion together. Guests can enjoy a beautifully plated two or three-course dining experience or indulge in an elegant High Tea, surrounded by original artwork and the peaceful rainforest outlook. Dining on the Deck is an amazing open-air setting overlooking the beautiful Lake Baroon, with sweeping views across the rainforest and Hinterland. Featuring rustic wooden tables, beautiful cross-back chairs and an open connection to the surrounding landscape, it offers a relaxed and memorable setting for larger gatherings. As an open dining space, it is generally shared with our café guests; however, the entire space can be booked exclusively for private functions when you would like the setting all to yourself.
With space for groups of 15 to 80 guests, Dining on the Deck is ideal for milestone birthdays, family gatherings, celebrations, corporate events, Christmas parties and other special occasions. Guests can enjoy a beautifully plated two or three-course group dining experience or indulge in our elegant High Tea. With the space open to the natural Hinterland surroundings, it offers a wonderful balance of celebration and relaxed outdoor dining, allowing your guests to enjoy the spectacular views and unique atmosphere of Secrets.

Our group dining experiences have been designed to make your occasion effortless and enjoyable. Choose from beautifully presented two and three-course dining experiences, with seasonal menus created using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Our menus change throughout the year, ensuring each season brings something new to enjoy.
For something a little more indulgent, our High Tea experiences are a wonderful choice for birthdays, bridal showers, baby showers, anniversaries and other special celebrations. Choose from our Classic, Champagne or Ultimate High Tea, each beautifully presented with fully dressed tables to create an elegant and memorable experience for your group. We can also make birthdays and milestone occasions extra special with our made-to-order celebration cakes, available in a selection of sizes and flavours.
Throughout the year, we also offer seasonal group experiences, including our much-loved Christmas in July and Christmas celebrations. Designed to bring people together over delicious food and a relaxed, celebratory atmosphere, there is something to suit every occasion.
