Canapés

$5.00 per serve for 2018.  $5.50 for 2019.

  • Canapés are substantial in size. After your Ceremony in the gardens we advise a minimum of 3 Serves per person. For your Reception a minimum of 8 serves per person is recommended.
  • For Canapé Receptions (available daytime only) in the gardens or the Lakehouse, service charges apply based on the number of guests. This charge includes cakeage -portioned and served on a plate with serviette. $20 per person for over 50 guests – $25 per person for over 30 guests – $30 per person under 30 guests.
  • For numbers under 20 guests, special arrangements will need to be made. Cut off is based on adult numbers only.

    Wedding Reception Menu

    • Between 40 – 80 Guests:  3 Courses $95 from 5.30 to 9.30pm
    • Between 30 – 40 Guests: 3 courses $100 from 5.30 to 9.30pm
    • Between 20-30 Guests: 3 courses $120 from 5.30 to 8.30pm
    • Numbers under 20 for a night time reception will incur an extra cost per head based on numbers. Please contact us with your special requirements for a quote.
    • Price based on a choice of 2 meal selections per course. For a choice of 3 meal selections please add $4 per head.
    • Liquor licence laws stipulate last drinks are served at 10pm and all receptions can extend their event duration up to a maximum of 10:30 at an additional venue hire fee of $200 per half hour.
    • Please take some time to arrange your guests transport at the end of the reception as staff need access to prepare the venue for the following day. Please be aware that receptions going beyond the agreed time will incur additional charges at a rate of $200 per half hour.
    • Numbers are based on adults attending only.
    • Prior notice for dietary requirements is essential. Please discuss when initially planning your menu.

    Secrets on the Lake Breakfast Buffet option is served in the beautiful Lakehouse near our private jetty on the shores of Lake Baroon. The Breakfast Buffet is based on a rate of $60 per person. Requires a minimum of 25 people and a maximum of 45 people.

    This option is served in the Gallery or in the Lakehouse. It requires a minimum of 25 people, and a maximum of 45)

    Our special teas are served with a selection of delightful hot and cold treats, both savoury and sweet, and with plunger coffee and tea. There is also a champagne high tea option.Food can be served on tiered platters to the table or alternatively served as a buffet style. Please liaise with our wedding planner and with our chef about your choices.


    Buffet Barbecue

    • Between 40 – 80 Guests:  $80 per person
    • Between 30 – 40 Guests: $90 per person
    • Between 20-30 Guests: $110 per person
    • For small groups of no more than 15 a BBQ (presented on platters) in The Nest can be delivered $55 pp as a Do it Yourself Style Option
    • Cakeage included in this price- simple cut and portion with a serviette.

    Informal Service – Lakehouse – Simple rustic tables – available up to 5pm

    • Guests are served from a generous buffet of barbecue meats by our staff.
    • They can help themselves to salads and breads from covered buffet tables.
    • Guests may choose whatever they would like from the four selections.

    Formal Service – Available in the Cafe – available from 5:30 – 9:30

    • The buffet tables are set up on the café deck with white linen cloths.
    • The food is placed in heated chafing dishes and then served by our uniformed staff
    • Guests may choose whatever they would like from the four selections.
    • There’s no limit on amounts of food they may have.

We create gift vouchers for our guests who want to share a little bit of Secrets with a loved one, a friend or even a loyal employee. It is always the right time to think about purchasing a Gift Voucher. We are very happy to help with any information about our gift vouchers which can be for a specific thing such as a 2 night stay at a particular time or as a voucher to use within a specific time period. A single Saturday night is not available by using a gift voucher as we have a 2-night minimum stay Sometimes it will be an amount of money towards a stay or a cafe gift voucher.
