Canapé Menu

$6 per piece for 2021.

Canapés are quite substantial in size. From our experience, after your ceremony in the gardens (prior to your night time reception) we advise you order a minimum of 3 Serves per person. For your night time canapé reception a minimum of 8 serves per person is recommended. Please choose 8 selection from the menu below. * Extra Canapes may be ordered and an additional fee will be applied in this instance.

For Canapé Receptions in the gardens or the Lakehouse (available daytime only), a service charge applies that is based on the number of guests. This charge includes cakeage – portioned and served on a plate with serviette. Cut off is based on adult numbers only. Night time receptions at Dining on the Deck must be finished by 8:30pm.

Wedding Reception Menu

  • Between 41 – 80 Guests:  3 Courses from 5.30 to 9.30pm – $100 in 2020/$110 in 2021/$115 in 2022
  • Between 31 – 40 Guests: 3 courses from 5.30 to 9.30pm – $105 in 2020/$115 in 2021/$1125 in 2022
  • Between 20-30 Guests: 3 courses from 5.30 to 9.30pm – $125 in 2020/$135 in 2021/$145 in 2022
  • Numbers under 20 for a night time reception will incur an extra cost per head based on numbers. Please contact us with your special requirements for a quote.
  • Price per guest for Receptions is based on a choice of 2 meal selections per Reception course served alternately (50/50). For an additional choice of 3 meal selections per Reception course served alternately (please add $4 per course/per head.
  • Liquor licence laws stipulate last drinks are served at 10pm and all receptions can extend their event duration up to a maximum of 10:30 at an additional venue hire fee of $250 per half hour.
  • Please take some time to arrange your guests transport at the end of the reception as staff need access to prepare the venue for the following day. Please be aware that receptions going beyond the agreed time will incur additional charges at a rate of $200 per half hour.
  • Numbers are based on adults attending only.
  • Prior notice for dietary requirements is essential. Please discuss when initially planning your menu.Where additional dishes are required for dietary requirements there will be an additional cost of $5 per plate.

Children up to 12 yrs of age may select from the Kids Menu. Our quoted price is based on 2 meal selections per course served alternately (50/50). An additional $4 per course/per head applies for an additional third selection per course served alternately.
$40 for Two courses per person ($45 in 2021/$50 in 2022)

High Tea Maleny Secrets on the Lake

Morning or Afternoon Tea / High Tea Option

This option is served in the Gallery or in the Lakehouse. It requires a minimum of 25 people, and amaximum of 45 people. Prices are valid for receptions held before Dec 31st 2020

  • Secrets Classic High Tea per head – Lakehouse $58/Gallery $53
  • Secrets Champagne High Tea per head – Lakehouse $64/Gallery $59
  • Secrets Ultimate High Tea per head – Lakehouse $74/Gallery $69

Our famous High Teas are served with a selection of delightful hot and cold treats, both savoury and sweet, and served with plunger coffee and Basilur Loose Leaf Tea. Can be served on tiered platters to the table or alternatively served as a buffet style. Please liaise with our wedding planner and with our chef about your choices.

Barbecue Costs and Conditions

  • Between 41 – 80 Guests: Price per person $85 in 2020 / $90 in 2021/$95 in 2022
  • Between 31 – 40 Guests: Price per person $95 in 2020 / $100 in 2021/$105 in 2022
  • Between 20-30 Guests: Price per person $115 in 2020 / $120 in 2021/$125 in 2022
  • For small groups of no more than 15 a BBQ (presented on platters) in The Nest can be delivered $60 pp (Do it Yourself Style Option)
  • Cakeage included in this price- simple cut & portion with a serviette.

Informal Service – Lakehouse – Simple rustic tables – available up to 5pm

  • Guests are served from a generous buffet of barbecue meats by our staff.
  • They can help themselves to salads and breads from covered buffet tables.
  • Guests may choose whatever they would like from the four selections.

Formal Service – Available in the Cafe – available from 5:30 – 9:30

  • The buffet tables are set up on the café deck with white linen cloths.
  • The food is placed in heated chafing dishes and then served by our uniformed staff
  • Guests may choose whatever they would like from the four selections.
  • There’s no limit on amounts of food they may have.
