Secrets on The Lake Grounds and Facilities
Beautiful gardens, panoramic views and lake side walks are all a part of the Secrets on The Lake experience
In addition to our ten beautiful treehouse cabins, we also have beautiful sprawling lawns, secret gardens, an art gallery, café and much more. To make an enquiry about any of our facilities, please, please click here or call us on (07) 5478 5888.
In addition to the natural beauty of the rainforest, lake and mountains, Secrets has stunning gardens and a charming lake house. All guests have access to the grounds unless there is a wedding that has exclusively booked the grounds for their ceremony.
Our Secret Garden has stunning flowers, decks, rock pools, arbours and a carved bar and servery. There are toilets at the lakehouse.
The Lake House is a beautiful colonial style building on the foreshore of Lake Baroon. It is cream and white with a crystal chandelier, spacious deck and internal balcony. It has a kitchen, disabled access and toilets.
There is also a beautiful jetty which is a lovely spot for fishing, relaxing or wedding photo shoots.
Lake Baroon has been stocked with lots of fish, including bass, and canoes, fishing rods and life jackets are available for use – please ask at reception.
Some of our additional facilities include our Secrets café and deck, open for breakfast, brunch lunch and afternoon tea, as well as mobility scooters for any of our guests who have mobility issues.
Secrets on the Lake Art Gallery has stunning views of Lake Baroon in Montville. Some of our artists include: Jack Wilms, Cathy Lawley, Gary Myers, Mark Kalifa, John Dawson, Lindsay Muir, Cath Johnston, Diane Somers-Cooke, Jim Cox and Heather Jones.
We have handpicked our local artists to bring you a wide variety of styles and subjects all complimenting our unique art space, a work of art in itself. George Johnston and his son Rob have designed the gallery in a way to showcase both the artwork inside and the landscape outside with huge windows framing the view of the rainforest and glimpses of Lake Baroon. You must view our gallery in person to truly appreciate its beauty.
