I have travelled to many countries over the course of my life. Its always been a joy to try something new or experience the special delights other cultures offer. A few years ago now, George and I delighted in travelling to Sri Lanka. Among the many wonders we enjoyed in this beautiful country was the amazing tea experience offered where we stayed at Barberyn Reef. Sri Lankan tea is grown in the perfect climate with minimum pollution as opposed to China and even Indian tea… and you can really taste the difference!

When something tastes that good we want to share it with our guests and we have decided to feature a range of really delicious Sri Lankan Basalur Teas for our diners to try or buy to take home or for gifts. Our Basalur Tea Range comes loose leafed in beautiful refillable tins, and is brewed in a teapot or a special individual brewing mug.
