The Secrets Garden is a spectacular venue for your Wedding Ceremony
A special occasion requires a special venue. The Secrets Garden is nestled beneath mountainous rainforests and next to a tranquil lake. It features beautiful carvings, rock pools, love seat swings, lush lawns and an antique style boat house. The photos taken here are stunning and unique. The moments will take your breath away and the memories will last a lifetime!
Secrets is a great venue for a smaller weddings or elopements but we love groups up to no more than 80. People must be guests of Secrets and certain minimum bookings apply. See below for the different packages. The garden wedding site is only available in the daytime and events must be wrapped up an hour before dark.
Handcrafted platforms have been built among lily ponds and waterfalls. Brides can select the aspect they would like with a pergola and flower gardens all around.
After the ceremony, guests can then enjoy the stunning views of lush lawns, gardens and Lake Baroon while being refreshed with delicious cocktail-style food and beverages.

Susan Lyle, our Wedding Manager has over 20 years of experience in event management. Susan will be available to discuss all your specific details to ensure your event runs seamlessly. Susan's services for the ceremony are included in the venue hire. However, she is able to arrange all aspects of your wedding day with her team of local professionals including celebrants, photographers, florists, hair and makeup artists as well as specialty decoration hire.

Casual Receptions
Secrets on The Lake offers casual receptions; high teas and cocktails on the cafe deck, picnics and canapes in the Secrets Garden. There is no option for self catering at The Secrets Garden. Groups of up to 50 may BBQ on the gallery deck with a curfew time of 9.30pm.
Please understand that there are some lovely reception venues on the range that happily accommodate large groups wanting a fine dining option. We can provide you with a list if you require assistance.
The Secrets Garden Drinks
Drinks are ordered in the garden and served with the canapés by our staff. You can choose to have an open bar, a limited tab, or have the guests pay for themselves. Drinks are charged at a per bottle served rate, generally $30 per bottle. Soft drinks are charged at $3 per person. This includes all labour costs for set and cleaning afterwards, we do not allow any groups to provide their own beverages.
Getting Ready
We recommend that The Nest which can accommodate up to 6 guests be booked as the venue for "getting ready", or just for your family to stay in. Refer to our website for current tariffs. If you choose to use The Nest for the purposes of "Getting Ready" and/or for small gatherings a cleaning fee of $200 will be applicable.

Mini Wedding

- You can choose any part of the grounds for your ceremony or on your deck.
- Full ceremonies have precedence to use the Secrets Garden, there are other lovely intimate spots to choose from as well.
- You can hire equipment from us to support your ceremony.

Full Ceremony
- For people with more than 12 guests or who wish to have our extra services.
- Must be guests of Secrets
- Midweek $800, Friday /Sunday $1050 and Saturday $1300 for ceremonies above this amount of guests apply.
- Guarantees access to “The Secrets Garden”, or in the case of wet weather on the deck of “The Secrets Gallery & Cafe”.
- Assistance from our wedding planner Susan Lyle.
- Assistance from Secrets staff.
- Pre-ceremony drinks of mineral water, juices, and soft drink.
- Two and a half hours of access to your wedding site, in winter must be by finished by 4.30pm and in summer by 5.00pm. Photos of bridal party may go until sunset.
- Includes 10 Italian white padded folding chairs
- Signing table with white German lace Cloth.
- Bowl of short stem roses.
- Bottle of special sparkling wine and set of complimentary Secrets monogrammed champagne memorabilia glasses in your honeymoon cabin.
- Sound system (you arrange your own music).
- People getting ready at Secrets will require larger accommodation to do this such as The Nest, or the Whistle Stop.
- A minimum of two bookings must be made one of which must be Two Frogs as it is very close to the pathway to the garden and guests may otherwise be disturbed by your wedding.
- In general Secrets has a policy of a minimum of two night bookings, this may be relaxed on Sunday or Thursday if a larger number of cabins are booked.
In the event of rain, Secrets Cafe has large deck which is a beautiful place to get married. While poorer weather is not ideal for a wedding, it can produce some amazing photos.

A non-refundable(with any cancellation) deposit of $500 applies where the minimum 2 cabins are booked, where larger numbers of cabins are booked the non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required within 14 days, along with our signed booking agreement, to confirm your booking. This deposit is returned, when everything is paid for, after the event.
