Home baked muffins or croissants are delivered piping hot each morning.

Secrets on the Lake has two separate kinds of accommodation - The Whistle Stop cabin and our treehouse style accommodation which has three different standards and rates... consequently, we have 4 different rates. Rates are valid from the 1st of April 2007. The following prices are in Australian dollars, based on a rate per couple, and we would like to remind you that minimum bookings apply.

The Whistle Stop

A 100 year old renovated heritage cabin. It suits couples and families seeking an outdoor holiday in a very secluded situation, with rainforest views. This federation style cabin is your perfect Australian romantic getaway. Tour this Montville cabin accommodation.

Treehouses

All treehouses have sunken spas, fireplaces and lake views. They are extremely beautiful, of a world class quality and mainly for couples. You can view each of our treehouses on the Tour a Cabin button link to the left or click on the cabin names beneath each section below.

Luxury Treehouses are individually themed with stunning lake views and a wide range of exciting artistic features. Two Frogs, Waterlillies, The Bower, Lizards Lair & Possums.

Penthouse Treehouses have been built more recently and have suspended fireplaces, step down spas, wooden swing seats and walk in shower rooms. They have all of the luxury treehouse features, with even more carvings. Dragonfly, Platypus, Wait-A-While & The Nest. Wait-A-While can accommodate up to two couples, The Nest accommodates up to six people.

Secrets has all of the penthouse features with an additional dining room area that looks out over its own private rainforest grove and waterfall. The waterfall is also viewed from the bathroom, from the dining room, and has a stunning cliff face position. Click here for a virtual tour.

Terms & Conditions

Please note your acceptance of these terms and conditions is a requirement of making a booking.

• Check in time 1:00 - 2:00pm. Checkout 10:00 - 11:00am
• Secrets facilities are for paying guests only - no visitors.
• As we hold your booking in good faith, we operate under a 30 day cancellation policy.
• To secure your reservation a deposit equal to the first nights stay is required within 7 days. For bookings longer than 2 days an additional deposit is required 30 days before arrival bringing deposit equal to that of half the stay.
• All rates and prices include GST and are firm at the time of deposit; otherwise subject to change without notice.
• Transfers and cancellations made up to 30 days before arrival are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
• Refunds of cancellations after this time are subject to the treehouse reletting. Some conditions may apply
• It is suggested that guests seek travel insurance (particularly for longer stays) to cover cancellations, loss of deposits, medical and other emergencies.
• Guests are responsible for damage, loss or theft from their treehouse.
• Gift vouchers are non-refundable and only transferable once re-let.
• Smoking is only permitted on your deck and in the garden.
• Minimum bookings apply.
• No pets allowed.
• If guests cancel or cut short their stay and the cabin is re-let, then the remaining balance is refunded less all costs of additional cleaning, breakfast baskets, replacements, re-letting commissions or discounts, any breakages or damage costs.
• Deposit money shall mean all money paid prior to cancellation, including gift vouchers, which are paid in full and are non-refundable.
